Toyota RAV4 vs. Honda CR-V - Who Takes It?
Trims Available

- Toyota RAV4 LE
- Toyota RAV4 XLE
- Toyota RAV4 XLE Premium
- Toyota RAV4 Adventure
- Toyota RAV4 Limited
What about the Honda CR-V? Though the Honda CR-V has options, it comes in slightly less with four choices in the series. There is the:

- Honda CR-V Touring
Capability
- Both the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 offer variants of All-Wheel Drive, where the Honda CR-V has Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System™ offered for all trims but not standard on any of them.
- The Toyota RAV4 takes capability further. For one, the Toyota RAV4 Adventure comes with Dynamic Torque Vectoring All-Wheel Drive and has Multi-terrain Select and Rear Driveline Disconnect included. This system is also available for the Toyota RAV4 Limited. There is also another All-Wheel Drive system obtainable. That's right; the Toyota RAV4 has two options! For the Toyota RAV4 LE, XLE, and XLE Premium, there is All-Wheel Drive with Multi-terrain Select available.
Engine Options
- On the Honda CR-V, you will see either a 184-Horsepower In-Line 4-Cylinder engine or a 190-Horsepower In-Line 4-Cylinder engine with a Turbocharger.
- Though the Toyota RAV4 only has one engine, it provides substantially more power. The Toyota RAV4 has a 2.5-Liter Dynamic Force 4-cylinder engine that has 203 Horsepower available.
Safety Features
- Although the Honda CR-V offers ample advanced safety features with Honda Sensing®, they don't come on the standard Honda CR-V LX model.
- The Toyota RAV4, however, comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense™ 2.0, that has Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Lane Tracing Assist, Road Sign Assist, and more, standard on the starting Toyota RAV4 LE.

Infotainment
- Standard on the Toyota RAV4, there is a 7-inch touch-screen and Entune™ 3.0 Audio system
- On the base model of the Honda CR-V, it has a 5-inch LCD screen.
